I hit a home run in the softball game today! Yes, that's right. Me. I used my blinding speed to leg out a home run! Woo hoo! Too bad I sucked in the field. We took a 21-7 lead into the bottom of the sixth and hung on to win 21-17. So frustrating, but at least it's a 'W'.

I struck out today, just when our team needed to get a run to beat the other team. I was only the second out, but I can't believe I STRUCK out. Man. It's just the icing on the cake in a bad bad day.
My game got cancelled tonight. Only our 3rd cancellation so far this season due to weather. There was only a tornado watch, why couldn't we have played?
WTF. is this bizarro land or something? where everyone likes and plays softball?
I need to go click around the running blog family, bring myself back into "normal people land". where people like running. as it should be.

Tornado WATCH? Seriously!! After 4 or 5 rainouts this year, we played 4 innings while it was thundering in an attempt to finish before the rain came. Your league is weak! :)
Tell me about it! Two weeks ago our game was cancelled and I showed up only to find the parking lot empty. It was SUNNY!! We are going to be playing until September if they have us make up the games.
