Good-bye JMFJ
I must admit that I am still very bitter about Michigan's loss last night. However, I have tremendous respect for sophomore defenseman Jack "MF" Johnson.
He had no business playing one year of college hockey, yet he stayed for two. One of the most dominating college defensemen I have ever seen play. He'll be great in the NHL. I also appreciate how he closed the loop and announced his decision early in the offseason, unlike several other Michigan defections in recent years. Hopefully Berenson will allocate JMFJ's scholarship to a competent goalie.
We'll miss JMFJ's dad, too.
Another video - see 5th video on 1/12/07 game.
I promise I'll stop writing about sports tomorrow. Seriously.
