Super Let Down

Wow. I can only imagine how devastated the New England Patriots feel today. What a horrible way to end such a great season. Unfortunately, New England had to close the game with their mediocre defense, not with the super awesome Tom Brady on the field.

After a lackluster three quarters, the fourth quarter was amazing. I still can't get over that last drive where the Giants took the lead. The Manning-to-Tynes pass on 3rd and 11 might just be the most amazing/clutch offensive play I've ever seen in a big time football game.

That said, I was somewhat disappointed by the commercials. I didn't see all of them, but two standout in my mind:

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

It's about time Charlie Brown had something go his way!

Gonna Fly Now

This commercial definitely made me think of PhillyPhanatic training session on that infamous night at the 'Park Place Crawl' party from the summer of 2003.

I don't really have anything to say about the game that hasn't been said 100 times over... just, wow!

(Oh, and the champagne was delicious!)
