Uncle Gary!!!

As of 5:12AM, I am an uncle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My brother called this morning as I was heading out the door to work with the great news. Mom and baby are doing well (at least as of 7:40AM). My brother was definitely exhausted. He still had not slept when he called, but he was practically falling asleep while we were talking.

I can't wait to get down there to meet baby Eli. Not sure when that will happen, but it will probably be sometime in October. I'd go this weekend, but there is a scheduled family event in AZ that I'm sort of obligated to attend. Since my brother and his family are not going, it's going to be a moderately painful weekend watching my dad and his brothers constantly wrestle for control of each situation.

Sadly, I have no pictures to share right now. My brother has taken pictures, but apparently tending to his wife and baby is more important than sharing pictures with the rest of his family. I say booooo. Boo urns.

I'm sure he'll send something soon.
