The Whammy Has Won

Sad story today.

I remember the fall of my senior year when I was studying for SOA Course 4. I would go over to visit the Sybil Girls just about every night after band practice. The Sybil Girls were 8 girls, several who were in the trumpet section of the marching band, that lived a block away from me (on Sybil St.). We all loved the game show Press Your Luck. In fact, we'd watch the Game Show Network every night while we were studying until the second episode of Press Your Luck ended at 2AM. Amazingly, this was how I passed Course 4!! That year, the trumpet section made section t-shirts with a Press Your Luck theme. It was an awesome shirt!!

I e-mailed a few of the girls from the house while I was at work today to share the news. We were all very sad. May Peter Tomarken rest in peace.
