With authority! Cloudy/dark/rainy conditions didn't slow us down. We took a 6-4 lead into the sixth inning and blew the game open with seven runs in the sixth inning, capped off by UNICorn's 3-run blast. We added four more in the seventh just to pour some salt on their wounds. When all was said and done, we won game two 17-5. Not nearly as stellar of a defensive performance for us, but the bats were alive.

After two years of heartbreaking playoff losses in this league, an 0-6 record against SOP, and SOP ending our 2003 and 2005 campaigns, the 2006 championship was oh so sweet. I'm sure several readers remember that P&C's first ever game back in 2003 resulted in a blowout loss to SOP. There was no team I would rather have beaten for the title.
