Going out in style

Shenanigans, the indoor soccer team I joined this session, ended our best session of the season tonight. We beat a team ahead of us in the standings 9-2 tonight. 9-2! We had all our best players there tonight and a reaonable number of subs (3). The other team had no subs, and no prayer of beating us tonight. I only had to make about three saves. I could have slept for an hour and we would have still won. We finished 3-4 on the session, which exceeds the total number of wins the team put together in the prior two sessions this past winter. I'd like to take all the credit since I was new to the team this session, but you wouldn't believe me anyway.

However, we are not going to field a team anymore since people are too busy in the summer. Oh well. It was a fun seven weeks! Maybe we'll play again next winter. At least I got a cool jersey out of this!
