Still so sore

Although I struggled to walk today after the longest run ever yesterday morning (for me at least), I still manged to get to the gym this morning. After a 1/2 mile swim and a six mile bike ride, I managed to make myself even more sore. This is going to be fun...

Maverick hosted a small Easter dinner this evening. She managed to cook a fantastic meal and the setup was marvelous, even though the only bread offered at the meal was leavened. Good work, Maverick!

As for what lies ahead this week, I am not too sure. I'll make sure I get 2-3 good days of "training" in after work, but other than that, it will probably be an uneventful week. I will go bike shopping at some point since I need a bike for the triathlon. Hopefully I can get a decent bike for ~$300, but I suspect that a bike might be a little more expensive than that.

Some point in the next week or two, I will put up a two part post previewing the company co-ed intramural softball season that starts on May 1. Since many of you either currently play or once played in the league, I hope you will find it entertaining.

BOSTON IS TODAY! (talk about being sore... those people are going to be feeling it tomorrow. good grief) AND CLINT PLACED IN THE TOP 10! OMG.

ok. sorry about that. what you're feeling is what's called "second day soreness" or DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). it should get better from here.
