Hockey anyone?
I am going to complain for the 1001st time that none of my friends here like hockey. One of the NCAA hockey regionals is located less than one hour away in Worcester, MA this weekend. The teams lined up for the site are the following:
1) Boston University
2) Miami
3) Boston College
4) Nebraska-Omaha
Although Michigan ended up elsewhere, I am still happy with the teams playing here. I absolutely love the Boston U fans. I try to attend one of their home games each year since it is a fun place to watch a hockey game. Not quite like Yost Arena, but still decent. Boston College, on the other hand, has a crappy hockey following (and a bunch of annoying fair weather fans). BC couldn't even sell out their arena for a BU-BC game that I attended a couple years ago. There were like 2,000 empty seats! Frankly, I don't like BC's hockey team. Maybe it's all the times they have beaten Michigan in the tournament over the past few years. I hope someone hands them a humiliating defeat like North Dakota did in the tournament last year. As the BU students sing (slightly censored)- "f'em up, f'em up, BC SUCKS!!"
As for why I am going to complain, I can't find a single person that wants to join me for the hockey games in Worcester. It's the NCAA tournament!! C'mon people!
I'm going to go by myself anyway, even though it means I need to burn a half day of vacation on Friday. I have not seen any local college hockey this year, and this is my last chance. With both Boston schools playing, the crowd should be really good. GO BU!!

I would've considered going if not for the golf trip this weekend. It would be more appealing if I could bet on the games and then watch it. Does Bodog have college hockey lines?
