It's a miracle!

That's right, I have won money in the office NCAA basketball pool. It's the first time I have ever won money on this tournament. The group fared quite poorly given the large number of upsets this year, but one of my two entries is standing strong. I win 1st place if UCLA beats LSU in the semifinals and third otherwise. I am also in the running for money in UNICorn's pool as long as UCLA wins next Saturday.

I should reach out to Hawkeye, the sports hedge expert, soon for her recommendations. My potential winnings will vary significantly based on the outcome of the UCLA-LSU game. I might bet on LSU next Saturday through some online site to narrow the range of potential outcomes based on the Final Four games next week.
